Couple Photoshoot London

Michael and Sherri came to London via Philadelphia to celebrate Sherri’s birthday, and I had the pleasure of hanging out with them when they booked me for a couple photoshoot in London.

I like portraits to be as fun and relaxed as possible and to capture those moments in-between, when smiles are genuine and authentic and a reflection of personality.  My role as a photographer is not just to take pictures, but to make sure you’re relaxed and enjoying yourself as well.  Come rain or shine (it can rain a lot in London), I want you to look back at your pictures with genuine warmth, and be reminded of what a great time you had, not what the photographer told you to do.

Michael and Sherri really went for it with their trendy blue and white casual outfits.  We started out with a few shots at the classical monument that is St Paul’s Cathedral, before crossing the bridge into the modern, artsy hub of The South Bank where we strolled and chatted along the River Thames.  Typically, The South Bank was a flow of activity but i like to incorporate those energetic elements into the pictures.

Because they booked me for the 3 hour photoshoot in London, we had time for stop back at their hotel for a change into their evening wear and then took some really cool shots in the sumptuous bar area of the hotel.  We then walked through hustling, bustling Soho and Chinatown for an urban, cosmopolitan backdrop.
